1. What is the Pathways/Senderos Center?

The Pathways/Senderos Center is a comprehensive youth development and teen pregnancy prevention program serving young people and their families in New Britain. Our mission is to eliminate teen pregnancy by addressing its root causes, ensuring high school graduation, and promoting self-sufficiency among young adults. We provide academic support, life skills training, family engagement, and enrichment activities in a safe, nurturing environment.

2. How is the organization funded?

 Pathways/Senderos is a nonprofit organization funded through a combination of public and private grants, individual donations, fundraising events, and community partnerships. We are deeply grateful for the generous support of our donors and funders who make our programs possible.

3. What types of programs do you offer?

We offer a variety of programs designed to support the academic, social, and emotional growth of youth, including:

  • After-school academic support and tutoring
     

  • College and career readiness workshops
     

  • Leadership and life skills development
     

  • Family support services and parent workshops
     

  • Summer enrichment programs

 

All programs are designed to foster long-term success for participants and their families.

4. How do I sign my child up for the program?

We’ll schedule an appointment to discuss eligibility, complete an application, and provide a tour of the program. Enrollment is open year-round, depending on availability.

5. Is there a fee to participate?

No FEE!  All Pathways/Senderos programs and services are free of charge to participants and their families.
