Common Questions
You Ask. We Answer.
Looking for more information about the work that we do? This is a collection of all the questions we are asked most often, listed here for your convenience. If there is anything we didn’t cover, please let us know.
Who do we service and how?
Our program is a social emotional learning and education assistance after school program first and foremost. Students enrolled are dropped off from their buses less than a block away from the program and spend their time in academic/social groups or doing homework, then transition into recreation time in a comfortable, homey atmosphere surrounded by their peers. At close of business hours, our transportation team takes every student directly to their homes in New Britain. We do not service neighborhoods outside the city. Our operation school grades are 6th through 12th grade.
Is it really free?
Enrolled students who maintain a regular attendance rate throughout the school year benefit from our TRIP Program, which has our students travelling to different venues all throughout New Britain, CT, and beyond performing recreational activities and education activities. All of our trips and the accompanying food and travel is completely free. Regular programming throughout the year, which includes homes transportation, snacks and foodstuffs, hosted events, Wifi and technology use, and of course education assistance, is without cost to anyone.
How do I apply?
